EMPOWERING AN INDUSTRY - ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION
: In stock
This book documents the first 100 years of NECA. The Association was founded in 1901 in Buffalo, NY, by a small group of electrical contractors seeking to establish an identity, foster trade, and reform abuses. These founders dedicated themselves to many of the tasks that occupy the organization today - establishing codes and standards, cooperative labor relations, workforce training, management education programs, and effective interaction with legislators and regulators. The book takes the reader through the good times and the difficult, concluding that NECA is a strong organization, well equipped to prepare itself for whatever the future brings.
